Busog na busog ang bawat alon ng tubig habang nag-iiyakan na ang mga "pagkain" nito. Uhaw na uhaw ang tubig sa bawat bagay na makita. Tila hindi na titigil sa pag-agos habang nilalapa ang bawat nilalang na madaraanan.

 

(Newsflash) "Hindi mabilang ang natagpuang walang buhay dito habang tatlo lamang ang buhay na namataan. Ang mga bata ay nahiwalay sa mga magulang. Mayroon ding natagpuang natabunan ng lupa habang ang ilan ay pakalat-kalat ang katawan sa paligid."

She woke up trembling with fear.

“Where am I?” she uttered those words with her chlorophyll-filled mouth and quickly regretted asking.  Just like how in a few seconds, she’ll regret ever opening her eyes.
