finally!

by poetic_angel ( | | | | | | | | | | | | | | )

I am a filipino writer, and I have walked astray from my calling since from when I was in high school. Writing is my calling, and when the chance was given for me to respond to this calling and take the road which will take me to it came, I squandered the chance. I did not respond to this calling, and trudged the road that led me so far away from it. Because of this, my soul was lost, and I became a zombie. I was breathing but not alive. I walked astray from the very thing that makes my heart beat, and so in very endeavor that I did, I failed. I became nothing, and was almost non-existent, till I came to decide to take back the chance I squandered, go back to where this death of mine started, find my soul, and follow the road to where the reason my heart beats.

my so called life

by Rom ( | | | | | | )

I hate it! I really hate it! I never thought it still grows inside me, after five years, it's still boiling inside and burning like hell, an unending burst of flame.  It all triggers as I watched this evening news, Rolando Navarette, a former Filipino WBC boxing champ, now a sick and poor as rat, forgotten, has been, beats his live in partner who is half of his age. The poor women suffered a broken face, and a broken head as the hammer smashed into her cranial area, a black eye and tons of bruises tells the entire story.

I felt a cold damp on my nape, after the sudden flush of anger, I sweat but I feel cold, suddenly I noticed my thumb on the TV's remote, it's shaking as if pushing the button is such a burden.  The TV is finally off, I don't know how I did it but I shut it off, as soon as my memories start to play on a different channel in my mind.

Technology, Making life easier?! or Making our life Deadlier?!

by bayanidawako ( | | | )

Technology deals with the usage of knowledge of tools and crafts. In primarily distinction of technology, it affects a species' ability to control and adapt to its environment. Technology is a term with origins in the Greek "technologia", "τεχνολογία" — "techne", "τέχνη" ("craft") and "logia", "λογία" ("saying"). In modern explanation of technology; it also refer to material objects such as machines, hardware or utensils can also encompass broader themes, including systems, methods of organization, and techniques. The term can either be applied generally or to specific areas: examples include "construction technology", "medical technology", "state-of-the-art technology" or "communication technology". In this modern times, technology is an everyday cliche in a life of a human being. It already affects the society and its surroundings. Moreover, it helped humans in traveling and  controlling their time. However, not all the use of a technology has been used for peaceful  purposes; the development of weapons; such as guns, cannons, ships, and mostly distinctively is the nuclear has been rapidly progressing to its maximum destructive powers through out history. As people, trying to make more independent on their use of tools. Many are not aware of the effects of it. Many believed that technology has not really a troublesome, it actually lighten their tons of work. Everyday people reported die in cancer. Cancer is the product of technology, cancers are caused by abnormalities in the genetic material of the transformed cells. Abnormalities may be due to the effects of carcinogens, such as tobacco smoke, radiation, chemicals, or infectious agents. Most of these things came from technology. People who are most exposed to these things has the more and have higher risk of triggering the cancer cell. Every human being has cancer cell, its just waiting to be activated by an agent called oncogenes. In a current status like this, people has to no choice to avoid such matters.  Thus, people adhere to technology just to satisfy their own needs. Even so, we are all committed to pay such events and the great prize to be won is death. The bible prophesied that the knowledge of man will be increasingly great, Daniel 12:4.

Tsk, tsk, tsk.... *chuckles to herself*

by Fur Elise Da Mirage ( | | | | )

People misunderstand situations, comments, and actions typically the King of this site's criticism and I wonder if it has a lot to do with anger management? Aha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! It's funny I can't hekp but laugh. I'm sorry to the noble founder of this site for finding it amusing but really.. how naive the people are here. So naive that they take insult of criticisms good or bad and snap at them instead of embracing them and bend down to it like an obedient tard. And they're parents too????? Tsk, tsk! Had they been teenagers I wouldn't have minded but for a fool to be a parent... no wonder children here never grow up. How sad and yet amusingly funny.

My uncle made me eat my dog....

by Fur Elise Da Mirage ( | | | | | )

My uncle made me eat my dog…

My uncle made me eat my dog
When I was very small.
He tricked me, and I wailed and sobbed
I balled in childish dismal.

From when a pup, I cared and fed
This unlucky tail-less fur,
And guard he did at play and bed;
An attentive beast of laughter

But hardened times made uncle sore,
He flamed at every cause
He even blamed my lovely four
A drooling fool on paws

He grilled my pet when I was gone
To school till half past three
And made me work till chores were done;
blind to uncle’s mockery.

A group of men arrived by night,
A feast of meat and beer,

Holding on to you

by moon ( | | | )

How much can some one hold on? Holding on to the love that will never see the sunrise of its purest intention...

Nor the sunset of its tragic longing.... But the action of holding on, stay strong and untroubled by gossips, influence nor

The visitation of the mental ghosts such as fear, doubt, and anger.

This pain of holding on to you will last forever, lost in the light of your after grace, stuck into the memories of our sweet past, dying in the present of being with out you, and hiding in the shadow of our unspoken grief.

So long

by moon ( | | | | | )

Let the silence between you and me, speak of the truth that we believe...Let us shout our intention into the unfathomable of unspoken action...Let our eyes express what are lips dare not to say...let us live the life that we ought to have, and not the life we both dream off...

You are called into a different passion, while i'm tied up with my obligation. I cannot forsake what has been laid down for me; and you cannot live the lie that i choose to belong with. Let me free you from your regret, and pain... I don't blame you if leave, because with this tragedy is also partly my fault.

Go and find yourself, while i'll stick to the identity that was crafted and specifically made for me. Is isn't a wonder that we never had each other, but by not possessing each other we learn to appreciate and care more for each other...
