Haha, oo nga ano - ba't andami pang pasikot-sikot before ka makagawa ng blog - or "blag!"
Anyway - my thought for the moment is this:
Do you think having an alter ego - or another personality slash nick online does more harm than good?
I remember one chatter exclaim "This yahoo-thing makes us forget that there's a real human being behind those weird nicks and pseudos..."
Humm - with the internet we can take on any persona we prefer - i could be pretty_gurl69 or hot_cool_guy75 or pedo^^666 whenever, wherever... cool huh? or not...
a friend and i were talking last night and our topic drifted to the kind of person we were when we're in a relationship.
we discovered that we have this tendency to assume different masks for each lover we had in matters of taste, likes, dislikes, and propensities.
i, for example, was surprised to discover that i could be so frigging sensual with this guy and frozone-like with another guy. that this guy makes me want to puke while this other guy makes me want to take up cunilungus as a second language.
i mean, what is this about? is this a matter of chemistry, a freakazoid of nature, what? we become unlike ourselves when we're with different people. it's like that julia roberts character in the movie "runaway bride". she wants different kinds of eggs when she's with a particular guy. it's scrambled here, omelette there, and sunny side up over there. what gives?
iN A FEW MORE MINUTES, i SHALL END MY 38-HOUR WORK DAY. nO, i AM NOT A NURSE, OR A DOCTOR... i AM A WRITER.
mY DAY STARTED WITH A FRANTIC CALL TO SOMEONE, A MISUNDERSTANDING, AND FINALLY RISKING MY LIFE BY ALLOWING TO BE DRIVEN BY SOMEONE WHOM i HAVE EARLIER SCOLDED FOR BEING LATE.
tRAFFIC IN MANILA WAS HORRIBLE IN THE MORNING. gOT TO MY FIRST INTERVIEW 40 MINUTES LATE. uH-OH! i HATE BEING LATE. oR, i HATE TO BE LATE WHEN IT'S NOT MY FAULT AND i HAVE TO GET THE BLAME FOR IT.
nO! tHIS IS STARTING TO SOUND ANGSTY.
i AM ACTUALLY NOT ANGSTY. mORE OF SLEEPWALKING, MIND IS FLOATING RIGHT NOW. i NEED TO GET SOME SLEEP!
