Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.

The dead catfish had been rotting in the sink for two days now. He still didn’t have the nerve to pick it up and toss it in the trash. He ignored it, in the superhuman way one could ignore fish stench. Not that he had been extremely so fucking busy, in the normal-person way you could tell visiting friends, “I had been, like, soooo busy I totally forgot about that dead fish ha ha ha.” All he did in the past few days was lie on the couch and read the bunch of poems he had written, changing a word, a line, or an entire stanza.

This is my September
I have waited long to be with you
Summon the stars to fall
On the earthly hands
That's been waving all this time.
If you notice, if you ever do
I have laid a velvet path for you
Palms and knees bruised
Knowing someone should fley
The wrath and scorn for you.
Hoping in these days you would come
As swiftly, worthy, as I once claimed
A patch through the storm
Just to come for them
When I’m all alone watching people passing by
I made this song for all the people who had been left alone. Just like now "I was left by the one that I love."
Don't be fooled by how I look like,
Boy I'm not what I seem like.
