Re-Writing "Death" by Kent Queipo, Pasintabi sa Makata (j.luna)

"For some reason, nobody seems to be talking about who we’re up against"
-Frank Miller

Running in chaos and ruins,
The rings of smoke emanate from my cigarette.

The sky, both gray
and discomforting-
Nourishes me.

What comes after this life:
Might be oblivion.

My tattoo speaks in Hebrew.

But death,
It calls to me in all languages-

The language spoken through wails , accidents, suicides- and

It makes life on the other side exciting.

Embracing death is freedom.

To be with Death-
Shall set me free.

I light and sip the smoke of another Marlboro Red -

A slow undefined suicide

Which pleases me.

Ewan ko ba kung bakit si Frank Miller ang ginamit ko sa isang tula na may Marvel allusions.
